THE NEXT GEN NEEDS US 🙌 Huge congratulations to Danielle and Naphthali! This amazing couple from Burton-on-Trent met me at a naming ceremony in Manchester and later reached out, asking me to officiate and minister at their wedding. I’ll admit, at first, I was hesitant because I didn’t know them well. But then I thought, they’re seeking the right path, and if I’m not there to guide them, they will still go ahead but miss out on Godly wisdom that can set a great foundation for their marriage. So, I set high requirements—commitment to intensive counselling with note-taking, hoping they might reconsider. Instead, they embraced it fully and even gave their lives to Jesus along the way. Their wedding was a beautiful celebration where many encountered Jesus for the first time. We must support the upcoming generation to get it right, especially when they’re seeking a righteous path. I’m grateful and honoured to have been part of their journey. When God gives you a vision for a kingdom business, He mostly would have pre-hinted you on your need for human resources, sometimes even before the venture begins. I serve voluntarily in a local church with a global mandate, and I often wonder how we all diligently work to actualise the ‘big’ kingdom vision God gave to the head of the organisation. Imagine if we were not there. Could he do it alone? But God has raised people everywhere to support the agenda. The truth is, if it is a great kingdom agenda, it will always require people who will lend a supporting hand to actualise its core mission. If it is of God, it will be too heavy for a man to bear.
